The Akari lights are handcrafted of translucent washi paper that is made from the inner bark of the mulberry tree. Designer has compared the light of Akari to sunlight filtered through traditional paper doors – the light sculptures create a warm glow and pleasant ambience.Â
Purchase instructions: This product undergoes a meticulous hand-bonding process using paper and glue. As a result, you may notice minor traces of glue along the edge of the lampshade. Please be aware that this occurrence is considered normal and does not constitute a quality issue.
